Greed is Good
For a long time, artists and self-proclaimed thinkers portray the rich people as being the worse kind of people in our society. Yet most people who criticize the rich, never even spoke to a rich person. So why does this happen?
In our society there's a trend of blaming every problem on the rich, even when they don't have anything to do with them. Of course there are a few rich people who have no character, those are the ones we hear about on the news all the time. But when a rich person do something good for society, like a big donation to charity for example, nobody talks about it.
It's sad to say, but most of us is actually jealous of those people more successful than us. Most of us think "it's not fair" when we see someone who has all the things we ever wanted. But what makes us so deserving of these things? There are those who were born rich, of course, but the fact is that most part of the millionaires today didn't have rich parents, they made it on their own.
It's common knowledge that everybody wants to be rich, so instead of criticizing the people who are already rich, we should admire them, and get to know them better, so we can perhaps use their story as an inspiration to go after our own success.
